We have three maps that have been painted to show the daily automobile
traffic flows. The traffic statistics came from INDOT which provides
this information on its web site (Indiana
County Traffic Flow Maps). The system of rating the roads is
based on a system used in Colorado and is shown in the following table.

Subtract 5,000 from the actual traffic flow for multilane roads such
as US 40
For now, we assume that the roads have no shoulder, but this can be
updated as required to reflect the actual road. Any comments about
specific roads would be greatly appreciated and should be sent to Norm. These
files are large, please save them to your
hard drive if you plan to use them regularly.
