Explore the Pleasant Run Greenway by bicycle. The Trail meanders along Pleasant Run Creek and the Parkway, and connects Garfield Park to Christian Park and ends at Ellenberger Park. The trail is on well-maintained asphalt and also connects through city sidewalks.

The trail is well marked and easy to follow. There will be an special emphasis on safety, such as Bike and Helmet Inspection to ensure each child has a proper helmet fit, and check that each child's bike is road-worthy by inspecting tires, brakes, handlebars, and chain. 

The Start/Finish: Garfield Regional Park Shelters #3 and #4 are located on Conservatory Drive adjacent to the Pleasant Run Trail head. This location has a parking lot, two shelters, and a playground. 

The Route: Our route will follow a portion of the Hoosier Rails to Trails, Pleasant Run Cultural Ride.

Short- 8.8 miles Garfield Park to Christian Park (round trip)

Long- 12.6 miles Garfield Park to Ellenberger Park (round trip)

Rest Stops: Stationary SAG stop will be located at Garfield Park and Ellenberger Park for those that want to ride the longer route. 

Directions to Garfield Park: Interstate-65 to Exit 109, Raymond St. Turn right on East Raymond St. Take immediate left turn onto Shelby St. Go four blocks south and turn right onto Conservatory Drive.
